SketchUp Shortcuts: Handy List

A SketchUp user who found my long-ago SketchUp projects on the Math Forum (those projects are no longer hosted there), recently told me about a one-page site she created:

Here’s a peek:

I’m a big fan of using shortcuts, and it’s sometimes hard to remember what key does what. You can set up your own keys, but SketchUp comes with a hefty set of pre-installed shortcuts as well. Some are familiar, like the ones used for cut and paste. And others make sense, like R for Rectangle, C for Circle, etc. But check out Samatha’s list for some you may not know about.

While you’re at it, SketchUp provides Quick Reference Cards as well. These are one-pagers that list shortcuts as well as modifier keys. For example, the Ctrl key in the Move tool toggles copying on and off. You can print the one you need and tack it above your computer.

Enjoy!
